AFRICANFEST-NYC is Staten Island, New York's community jamboree event. As such, we are looking for Artists / Bands from Africa, U.S.A., Latin America, Brazil, Haiti, etc. to come and showcase their talent at the festival.
Each year, we reserve few slots for up-and-coming talents (Bands & Soloists). Artists that can help celebrate our rich cultural heritage, and diversity!
If you're interested, and you have what it takes to CELEBRATE AFRICA, now's your chance to be seen and heard.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
- Complete the APPLICATION. (This is the only way to get a chance to play at the festival)
- Send us a link to your music. A website or music or video pages....so we can listen to you online (No files, please) Send all your links and info to our official submission email address: africanfestnyc@gmail.com
WHAT WE'LL DO:
Once we received your application, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your submission. Because we expected many applications and only a handful spots available, we cannot contact everyone personally. However, those selected will hear from the Artists Selection Committee Chairperson at least by July 15, 2021 (if not sooner).
